Guiding Principles

Remedy was founded on, and continues to operate under, a number of philosophies which, we believe, sets us apart from many of our competitors.

Personnel

Remedy only utilizes quality personnel who are fully qualified to carry out our projects. All Remedy personnel meet or exceed the training and experience requirements outlined in the "Recommended Standards for Wellsite Supervisors" published by the Petroleum Services Association of Canada.

All new personnel are screened for past job performance, training and ethics performance and are given a pre-hire orientation which includes a review of our Ethics Policy, Environment Policy, Socio-Economic Policy and Safety program. In addition, new personnel are briefed on our expectations regarding job performance, ethical conduct and professionalism.

Integrity

All personnel must adhere to our Ethics Policy, which is reviewed upon hiring and periodically thereafter. In addition to our Ethics Policy, integrity in our business dealings is stressed to all of our personnel and can be summarized in two basic principles:

  • All decisions and transactions must be made in the best interests of the Client.
  • All operations must be carried out in accordance with the applicable regulations. Contravention of laws and regulations by Remedy personnel is not tolerated.

We are committed through sound business practices and contracting strategies to ensure that the maintenance and development of an effective service industry continues and that present and future needs of industry will be competitively met. In frontier areas Remedy encourages and influences the enhancement of existing infrastructure and the development of new businesses to meet industry needs.

Safety

Safety of all personnel is of primary importance on operations. Remedy has a fully developed safety management and reporting structure which meets all the criteria of the Alberta Labor " Partnerships in Health and Safety " program. In 1995, Remedy was the first consulting company to receive accreditation under this program and we have consistently scored highly in the subsequent audits required to maintain this accreditation.

Remedy has a drug and alcohol pre-screening and testing policy to which all personnel must adhere.
